Please read the following information carefully before completing the registration form below.

The ASMS 30th Anniversary Conference will be held on Thursday 27 June 2019.

Clause 29.1 of the MECA includes provision for members to attend Association meetings and conferences on full pay.

Travel and Accommodation
All travel arrangements will be made by the ASMS national office.

The 30th Anniversary Conference is a day event and as such delegates will be flown in for the day and back home again.  Delegates will only be booked accommodation if they have limited flight options because of their location, or are Branch Officers and will be attending the branch officers workshop on Friday 28 June.

An itinerary will be emailed to those requiring flights.  Once received you will need to confirm with the travel agent (Corporate Traveller) within 24 hours for the flights to be ticketed. Please note the fares are non refundable.  Please arrange leave before requesting flights.

Costs
Your travel and accommodation will be charged to ASMS.

If you have been booked accommodation, the hotel will require a credit card imprint on check-in to guarantee incidentals.  Incidental expenses will not be covered by ASMS (room service, minibar, laundry, telephone calls, faxes etc.) and will be at the delegates’ own cost.  All incidentals must be paid by guests direct with the hotel prior to departure.

The programme is yet to be determined and will be circulated closer to the time.

ASMS 30th Anniversary Conference Registration

Clause 29.1 of the DHB MECA gives leave on full pay to attend meetings of the ASMS including our conferences. You do not have to use CME Leave. Member representation at the ASMS Conference is an important part of our governance processes and feedback to and from members at conference is essential to good decision making. The ASMS National Conference is the supreme decision making body of the ASMS. AS a DHB employee you will be attending conference on Professional Leave (29.1) on full pay as a formal representative of ASMS at your DHB. If you work for a non-DHB Employer please contact your Industrial Officer for advice re paid leave.

  • Delegates attending the conference will be flown in to Wellington and back home the same day of the conference unless there are limited flight options because of your location.
  • Please note, only those attending the Branch Officers Workshop (branch officers and national executive only) on Friday 28 June and delegates who have limited flight options because of their location, will be booked accommodation. All other delegates attending the conference will be flown in for the day only.
