Call for employment investigation into former Waikato DHB boss to be released
The employment investigation a former Waikato health boss tried to keep secret should come out in full, a health union leader says.
Nigel Murray quit his job at the head of Waikato DHB almost two years ago, while his expenses were being probed.
He was later found to have spent $120,608 on unjustified travel and accommodation, and has taken his former employer to court to keep a draft employment investigation report secret.
But that report should be released, says Association of Salaried Medical Specialists executive director Ian Powell, who warned the DHB about hiring Murray in 2014.
